“WISHING YOU A VERY Merry Christmas AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!” – from the ex-royal family to yours!
That’s right, we have more Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because, why not?
A Christmas Card to Bring You Joy!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex delivered the family Christmas card before celebrating their first Christmas in Montecito, California.
The card features a drawing of a picture that was taken by the Duchess’ mother, Doria Ragland, and was released through Meghan’s animal welfare organization in the U.K., called Mayhew.
The shining star in the center of the photo is the 19-month-old son of the ex-royal couple, Archie, who has 100% inherited his dad’s fiery red hair. The photo also features the couple themselves surrounding their little one, as well as their two dogs, Guy and Pula.
The message on the card says, “WISHING YOU A VERY Merry Christmas AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!”
In the card, we also get a sneak peek of Harry and Meghan’s backyard, which features a special playhouse for Archie! A source previously told People that the Dukes’ son is very happy and has lots of space to run freely. The couple also made sure to add many tiny nooks throughout so that their little one could start learning how to climb.
Meghan mentions in the card how she and her family have made a personal generous donation to Mayhew, which is going to be extremely helpful for their vital work to save and help cats, dogs, and other homeless animals.
More Christmas Cards from Harry and Meghan!
Harry and Meghan released their first Christmas card as a family of three last year while they were spending their holidays in Vancouver, Canada. It was around the time they were getting ready to resign from their duties as senior working Royals.
In 2018, they delivered their first-ever holiday card as a couple, at the time, they were newlyweds. The card was a picture of the couples Royal wedding reception that took place in Frogmore House.
Harry and Meghan are excited for their first American Christmas. They have been looking forward to celebrating it at their new home in California, which they purchased this summer. Just as it went down on Thanksgiving, Archie’s maternal grandmother will be joining them for this holiday season as well.
The Duke and Duchess enjoyed decorating their house for Christmas and even went out to shop for a Christmas tree! Not only for them but, this Christmas turned out to be different for the whole Royal Family due to the pandemic.
The Queen of England canceled the annual Royal celebration that was to take place in Sandringham, and she is now in isolation along with her husband, Prince Phillip.
