Recently, the Beckhams gained the spotlight when they purchased a highly expensive penthouse in the One Thousand Museum, an upscale condo building located in downtown Miami. Designed by the late Zaha Hadid, the One Thousand Museum is among the most revolutionary architectural pieces in Miami, and Daniel de la Vega, president of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, is quite proud of handing the sale of condos in the building.
Let’s dive into the details of the sale and the high-end Beckham condo.
Dissecting the details of the condo
One of the main reasons David Beckham thought about buying this property was that during the launch of his football team, Inter Miami CF, he’s had to spend more time with the players, and as such, living in the vicinity was only wise. Just FYI, Inter Miami CF, which played its first match against Los Angeles FC on March 1, 2021, comes under Beckham’s presidency.
Beckham’s partnership and licensing company, Beckham Brand Limited, played a vital role in materializing the house deal. According to Beckham’s spokesperson, the couple regards One Thousand Museum as a special building and is quite excited to be joining the community there.
Primary data reveals that the stunning penthouse spreads over 10,335 sq. ft. of living space and comprises five bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. Amenities launched in August 2019 include a rooftop helipad, a sky lounge for hosting private events, a spa and wellness center, and an indoor lap pool. Although the condo’s asking price was $20 million, the house’s actual sale price is not known at the moment.
The development team, including Kevin Venger, Gregg Covin, and Louis Birdman, refused to divulge any other details about the penthouse. While describing the One Thousand Museum, the development team said that the iconic design, sophisticated lifestyle, and privacy and security features attract buyers to settle in Miami. They even assured that Beckham and his family would love the new condo.
